WANIN International Supports Stop Cyberbullying Day and Promotes a Safer Digital Environment

186

Cyberbullying remains a significant challenge in today’s highly connected world. To mark Stop Cyberbullying Day, WANIN International highlighted the importance of online safety and reaffirmed its commitment to protecting young people from harmful online behavior.

WANIN enhances platform governance with AI-powered keyword filtering, user reporting mechanisms, and 24/7 content moderation to identify and address online abuse more promptly. Beyond platform safeguards, WANIN also works with academic institutions and nonprofit organizations to promote digital literacy and encourage responsible online communication.

In partnership with the John Tung Foundation (JTF), WANIN held anti-bullying workshops at Banqiao Junior High School. The sessions helped students develop empathy, emotional resilience, and practical ways to respond to online harassment. WANIN’s professional esports team, WANIN FlashWolves, further supported the initiative by participating in a campaign video on JTF’s YouTube channel. Team members encouraged viewers to speak out against online harassment, report harmful content, and support those affected instead of remaining passive bystanders.

Combining platform safeguards, educational outreach, and cross-sector collaboration, WANIN is helping foster safer and more respectful digital interactions.
