WANIN International Brings Resource Recycling to Life Through Family Sustainability Camp
WANIN International hosted its second Sustainability Camp, the “Recycling Adventure Camp,” bringing together nearly 40 families for hands-on learning about recycling and circularity.
Three Highlights
- Putting Circularity into Practice: WANIN transformed everyday sustainability practices, including resource sorting, food waste reduction, and coffee ground recycling, into hands-on learning experiences.
- Expanding Hands-On Learning: Following the Solar Adventure Camp in 2025, WANIN’s 2026 Recycling Adventure Camp expanded its sustainability education from renewable energy to circularity.
- Learning Together: Children, parents, and WANIN employees learned together, bringing environmental awareness into everyday family life.
Exploring the Recycling Journey
Children explored how paper, metal, glass, and plastics move through the recycling process, from sorting and processing to reuse, making circularity easier to understand.
Giving Waste a New Life
Children selected recycled plastic pellets and watched them being heat-molded into planters. They then added processed coffee grounds collected from WANIN offices as planting material, seeing firsthand how discarded materials can be given a new life.
Bringing Sustainability into Everyday Life
From the 2025 Solar Adventure Camp to the 2026 Recycling Adventure Camp, WANIN continues to translate its environmental initiatives into tangible learning experiences for employees and families.
